iAuditor is now Mitti. The inspection app launched as iAuditor on 17 February 2012, was renamed SafetyCulture on 21 November 2022, and became Mitti on 11 August 2026 when the whole company rebranded. Most people arrive here the same way. The free plan worked, the team liked it, more supervisors wanted logins — and then the eleventh user turned a free tool into a four-figure annual line item. This page is the arithmetic, and an honest account of when switching is and is not the right answer.
Two limits end it, and the template cap usually bites first:
None of that is a criticism — a free tier has to end somewhere, and theirs is more generous than most. The issue is the shape of the cliff. You do not pay for the eleventh seat. You start paying for all eleven.
Premium is $24 per seat per month billed annually (a 17% saving on the $29 monthly rate), excluding applicable taxes — so a UK buyer should add VAT on top.

The pattern is the important part, not the individual numbers. Per-seat pricing scales with your headcount. Per-site pricing scales with your sites. A safety programme wants every supervisor inspecting; a per-seat model quietly charges you for exactly that. At 50 users on one site the two models are roughly six times apart, and the gap widens with every person you add.
Mitti’s Enterprise tier does list site-based pricing, so the per-seat problem is not absolute — it is a Premium-tier problem. Enterprise is custom-priced through their sales team, which in practice means it is aimed at large multi-site rollouts rather than a single food factory that has just outgrown the free plan. If you are big enough for Enterprise, get a quote and compare properly rather than trusting the table above.
Under 10 users with simple needs, their free plan beats paying us anything. If five people run three templates and the findings do get closed, you do not have a software problem. Stay put.
Mitti is also the stronger choice if you need a large template marketplace, lone-worker monitoring, asset and equipment management, sensors and telematics, e-learning delivery, or deployment across thousands of users in many countries. Stay on Mitti if you are inside the free tier and it is working, if you need the breadth — lone worker, sensors, assets, e-learning — or if you are rolling out across many sites in several countries.
Move to AuditCore if you are a UK food manufacturer who has just hit the free-plan ceiling, you want H&S and food safety audits in one register, and you need findings that close with a root cause and an independent verification rather than a tick.
It is an audit, inspection and corrective action system. It is not a full EHS platform, and pretending otherwise would waste your trial.
